My name is Candice Ferguson and I am running for Colorado State Representative in HD38 because I believe that we are ready for bold and passionate leadership for our community and a leading voice in the House. I am a deeply rooted member in this community.
I was raised in a military family, born at Ft. Campbell Army Base. My family settled here in Littleton, where I attended Newton and Euclid middle schools, and graduated from our very own Heritage High School. Now, I’m raising my own children here in Littleton with my husband Jim.
My professional career has been as a marketing executive and business owner. I am the founder of the grassroots organization, Colorado Stronger Together, sparked by my experiences as an activist and volunteer. I also served as the Digital Director for Bond 4A that passed in 2018. I have organized the Silent Auctions at Wilder Elementary, Douglas County STEM and Goddard Middle School.
Our house district has grown and shifted in the 30+ years that I have been here to a complex suburban environment. It’s time that we elect a woman who represents who we are today! As the founder of Colorado Stronger Together, I have seen the impact that people like us have when we rise for the good of all. I will work to sponsor and pass legislation that will help make our community and Colorado as a whole, a safer place to live and work--a place where we all thrive.
I look forward to meeting you, talking with you, and most importantly, listening to you.
